When and where we meet — and how to find us

In addition to regular meetings, Lodge of Instruction evenings are held on Tuesday evenings between regular meetings, as required by ceremonial needs. LOI sessions are practice evenings where members learn and rehearse the lodge's ritual and ceremonial work. These are particularly valuable for newer members.
A typical lodge meeting at Lodge of Harmony No. 255 has two distinct parts:
Formal proceedings in the lodge room. This may include ceremonial work (initiation, passing, or raising of candidates), lodge business, and updates. The Worshipful Master presides from the chair, supported by the lodge's officers.
A formal dinner following the lodge proceedings, at which members, guests, and visitors dine together. The festive board is an important part of Masonic fellowship — a relaxed and sociable occasion with toasts and conversation.
The Twickenham District Masonic Centre (TDMC) is one of the largest Masonic centres in the Province of Middlesex, hosting numerous lodges and chapters.
Over more than two centuries, Lodge of Harmony No. 255 has met at a number of different venues across the Richmond and Twickenham area.
The founding venue, adjoining Hampton Court Palace. Built circa 1650 for Oliver Cromwell's troops. Demolished circa 1840. The lodge met here for 37 years. A commemorative plaque erected by the lodge in 1933 marks its main gate to this day.
